Moijan great tip about cleaning the cutlery when out thank you and also about the first defence round nose and not up it, I’ve just been putting thieves oil on a hanky and holding that against my nose when out with a ? round my mouth and nose too. ??

Good news ladies I have not got an infection so they stopping the antibiotics . Look like the original anti biotics along side the chemo side effect of diahorrea has made it worse If that the case hopefully should see an improvement over the next day or so fingers crossed . Just hope it does it delay my next chemo on the 14th x

You posted a picture of your beautiful wise cat who helped you through chemo years ago on New Year’s Day and with you being back on chemo now, I just wondered if you were a tn? And I’m right with you about cake touching while on the chemo, ewwwww who sticks their finger in someone else’s food anyway???shi xx
SW I usually enjoy for all their lucky breaks but the episodes from this week were much more real … excellent - they should win an award!! 
Thanks for that Moijan. I will def get one or 2. Have been out with a Beanie hat and, having had quite long hair was def feeling the cold in the gap between hat and scarf.

I now have phlebitis on the hand and arm where I had last cannula it is hot / hard and swollen - yet another gift . Had any one else suffered this x
Cathsin - what a really crap week for you. I really hope that they get you comfy and on the mend soon. I’ve no idea how they treat phlebitis or how quick meds will work but hop it’s quick and pain free. Big hug ?

Can use both arms but other one had a chemo burn on so they avoided that one
People keep telling me I am a strong person you would not have thought it earlier when I got given cold toast … you would have thought the world had ended I had a complete breakdown x

Camilla I was feeling fine but last night my throat got quite sore, my temp is fine and ok apart from the throat, so im just going to rest today and drink honey and water and see how I feel xx
Yeah I have manuka honey so will keep having that with hot water and will get some lemon. I started first dose of docetaxol on thusrday with herceptin and perjeta. I think i have seen others say that the docetaxol can give you a sore throat? Xx
Cathsin - I had this after my first round. I had a hard lump appear about an inch under where they put the cannula in. Needless to say it sent me into a blind panic thinking I suddenly had spread to my wrist and arm!
I had a port fitted for the next round which was great… until it stopped working for round 3. I’m now booked in for a lineogram on Tuesday to find out why is now not working— meh!

Kirsty- I havnt had the sore throat (probably the only SE I havnt had! ?) but I do get a very runny/sore nose! I thought it was a cold first time… then I had it every other time! X
Ah thanks Sam, maybe it brings on cold like symptoms a bit then. I did have a very slight cough for the past week anyway, nothing major but maybe the tax has heightened it a bit. Cancelled my plans for today tho so hoping a wee rest will help.
