Hi sweet potato

I think its hard when they give you the choice. I have grade three and was told I’m having chemo; started it last week and its not so bad. In my mind, anything that destroys any potential stray cells has to be a good thing.

Hi sweet potato,

I am due to see an oncologist on Tuesday to decide whether or not I should have chemo. (Had lump and lymph nodes removed, then a mastectomy 3 weeks ago. I had a couple of small grade 3 tumours and a fair bit of DCIS.). Always expected to go on Tamoxifen but all along I was told chemo was unlikely to be needed. So I was a bit worried when my cons said he would arrange the meeting to ‘discuss options’.

Julia’s right - sometimes it is easier not to be given the choice!

I will let you know what I find out on Tuesday if it is of any help to you.
