Hello - I was due to have mastectomy and instant DIEP reconstruction but was cancelled at last minute due to close margins. Thankfully all went well and following radiotherapy I am currently NED. Can I have a delayed reconstruction whilst taking Abemaciclib and Anastrozole?

I would get back to your consultant and find out. I had close margins but I had a diep in 2022 and I have been on treatment ever since. I do lots of gardening walking and running around like a headless chicken. The last activity was not recommended by my breast care team but it turns out I am better at organising funerals than anyone else in my family. It’s a shame I won’t be there to organise my own. I am now nearly 70 and no sign of dropping dead yet. I think overwork might do it….
