Deodorant

Hi, I had a lumpectomy and am starting Radiotherapy in two weeks. I cannot find a Deidras t which keeps me dry and I can still smell odour whatever suggested ones I use. Can anyone help please?

Hi, I had a lumpectomy April 2020. I’ve been trying Sweet Bee organic deodorant, which is like a cream. It has a lovely smell.

Throughout my treatments I found magnesium butter or salts for the bath, (if you like a bath) really helpful for muscle pain /spasms… Hopefully this is helpful, Take care x

Hi

Have you tried a crystal deodorant? You can buy them at Holland & Barrett for less than a fiver and you’ll never need to buy another because they seem to last forever. Before breast cancer, I needed a strong anti-perspirant. Since surgery and two years of treatment, I’ve found the crystal deodorant ideal. You just wet the end and then rub it across your underarm. It dries quickly, has no smell and you can use it immediately after hair removal too.

Definitely suggest a natural deodorant to avoid any potentially harmful chemicals like aluminum. I’d also avoid crystal sticks as most of these are made with alum salts which is still aluminium just in various salt forms. Highly recommend magnesium based natural deodorant over bicarb options which won’t be as effective for odour control and might give you irritation. Highly recommend Totem Eco’s magnesium natural deodorant which are super effective and for sensitive skin.
