I finally got to see the lymphoedema nurse today and thankfully there is no sign of it in my arm, just the breast. She has ordered me a pad thing to put into a sports bra and that, along with the massage, should hopefully do the trick. If not I’ve got to go back and be measured for an armour plated bra, OH will love that!!
No - missed the weather entirely. We had overcast & very, very windy. What with the groundsheet lifting, the airbed vibrating coz of that, it was like being at sea - and very, very noisy! However, had a great time!
Thank goodness you don’t have lymphoedema - it’s worrying isn’t it? Armour plated bras? Is that not what Madonna wears?

I think OH would be up for a Madonna bra, this thing I was being shown today looked like a sports bra joined to a giant girdle thing with extra wide straps, very attractive, NOT!!
ooooh - I think I know the manufacturer of that kind of bra. I know when I hit 36E I got the most AWFUL auld wifey type bra - bought it, got home and cried!
Hey Magsi - sorry I missed you - do you really trust Tesco with the online shop?
First time I did it it was a disaster - the computers went down in my local tesco and instead of diverting orders to a different store, or calling the customers to say their shopping wouldn’t be arriving they just ABANDONED me to my fate (which was OH having a hypo coz his tea didn’t arrive - thanks Tesco!)
I’ve never tried on-line food shopping, I think I am too fussy with stuff. Amount of fat on ham or bacon, colour of bananas etc. I don’t even trust OH to get it right so I just have to go and do it myself
Yeah we are getting the house done up. We got a wee bit of money and are using it properly instead of just dwindling it away.
Ordered new sofas from DFS, the fireplace was fitted today, have the wallpaper bought , just need the paint and new flooring
more your own place? My place is rented and I’m loathe to spend a fortune on somebody else’s house…but have managed to do some stuff - rescue old curtains from mum’s place etc
We have been wanting to sort out the hall for months and do the lounge but OH is never here, builders take FOREVER to come up with quotes so still nothing has happened.
Son had a minor car accident a couple of weeks ago and that is turning into an epic with insurance co’s. he’s going back to uni at the weekend so I’ll be left to sort that out I suppose.

Spent £73 plus £4 delivery but always manage to pick up a voucher code off another site so then got £7 off the total - can’t be bad and saved petrol!!
Do you use ‘voucher codes’ Leeloo cos if not I can always PM you the site?

Hi I’ll do it now and I know that a couple of them work.
When you are on the tesco’s site and gone through to check out then click on use codes at the same time open the voucher codes site.
Then you can just copy and paste the codes across until you find one that works.
They are usually codes like £7 off £70 £3.50 off £35 etc.
If you haven’t spent enough the tesco site will store it until next time unless it expires all quite clever.

I got the stitches out from my hickman line removal today…of course, me being me, it was so well fixed that he had to make another incision to get it out - so TWO scars…don’t care - the line was a lifesaver
I only have 1 more to go, so 16 days and counting LOL, although the side effects will take a wee bit longer.
My onc is off at the mo so still not sure about rads etc, it is so pants not knowing, although I am looking forward to not having to go to the hospital at all.
It’s annoying that the district nurse has to come out everyday to give me the neutropena injections now, it restricts my running LOL.
How are you getting on now honey that the chemo is over? When do you start rads? That’s pants about the line stitches, I’m still having problems giving blood etc but since there’s only 1 to go no point giving into a line now.
