Hi. My name is julie. I am 31 and was diagnosed with breast cancer during my pregnancy. I had my baby delivered at 37 week’s on 29th October and had lumpectomy on 4th November. Results were good clear margins no node infected. Because of my age and grade of tumour (grade 3 oestrogen receptor positive) I was offered chemotherapy to reduce the chance of the cancer returning. I am currently on my 2nd chemo session. I didn’t realise how tough chemo would be. Side effects ate hard. difficult to explain to people how I feel. Iv been reading through this site and seen so many people feeling the same way iv been feeling. It difficult going through chemo and looking after a new born and a 7 year old. I have an amazing husband and family who without them I would be lost. I just need to talk to people who are going through what I am. People I can relate to and know how it feels to be on this journey.
