diagnosed few months ago.....second biopsy showed more than first one

hello everyone. i had a second biopsy recently…first one was in Feb 2022. The first one showed an 8mm tumour. the second biopsy showed the same tumour but now with scattered atypical ductal hyperplasia…in the right anterior portion of the breast (7.0 x 6.8 x 0.2 cm in aggregate) which has to be removed as well.

i dont have large breasts…would a lumpectomy still be recommended? or is mastectomy better?

thanks!

Did the surgeons give you their recommendation and let you know what they think it will look like?
