Awaiting further detail as tissue is sent to another hospital for detailed tests. Bone scan on Monday, stitches out later next week. Ow what a lot of needles feeling sorry for myself and a little worried hoping it is only localized. Have already been told I will need a full mastectomy but the surgeon will reconstruct at the same time.
It’s a difficult time, I know, but that sounds very hopeful. You don’t mention chemo or radiotherapy? If you don’t need those, it sounds like you’ll be fine. Let them do the op.
You’ll be fine. Just take a few days to recover from the ordeal. x
I have just got my results today and I am quite shocked. I walked in healthy and left in tears. Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). I just want it all to go away.
Hi Sherry123

You could also contact our Helpline to talk things over. They are open from 9-5 on weekdays and 10-2 on Saturdays. The number is 0808 800 6000
