Hi everyone, i feel very awkward posting this and please forgive me if it sounds harsh but a male relative recently told us they have been diagnosed with breast cancer. They have mental health problems and have been known to make things up in the past so we are sceptical of what they are telling us.
Can someone please explain the procedure from appointment, mammogram, ultrasound, biopsy and waiting time for diagnosis. Also what is written on the diagnosis letter they send to the gp.
The reason i ask is they are going to show us a letter that states their diagnosis, if we know what to look for then we know they are being genuine.
I am sorry if i seem harsh and non caring but as i said they are known for making things up and we just want to be certain they are telling the truth then we can help them with their recovery.
Thank You
