Does this always happen,or can one have the DIEP without further surgery ?
Hi, I am less than 7 weeks after DIEP and I barely have them. Maybe they will go away completely after a few motnhs …I do not know. One side is slighly more than the other. I think it is only me and my surgeon who sees them. My doc offered to correct them If i do nipples in a couple of months. So far I am not bothered at all about nipples or dog ears. But later I might want it, maybe… hope this helps.
