Diep recovery - hard lump on boob and belly button

Hi all,
Just looking for some reassurance post-DIEP surgery. Im 2.5wks post surgery and already feeling much better than I did a week ago (although still wondering whether my lovely new boob has been at the loss of my tummy ). But there are a couple of things I cant find the answers to online and I hoped someone could help…
Belly button - getting a new one has completely freaked me out! This wound is probably the one that hurts the most. Its under dressings still but whenever theyre changed it looks very scabby, how long will it take to heal?
Hard lump (on the top of my reconstructed breast) - I asked the nurse that changed my dressing today if it was anything to worry about, she said ‘probably not, its probably just inflammation’, she offered to get the doctor to take a look, but I stupidly said Im sure its fine if you think its fine. But now Im worried, she wasnt very certain about whether it was something to worry about and everything the web tells me is that it is fat necrosis, any thoughts?
Thank you

At this stage of your healing yeah, it is nothing to worry about. I’m not a doctor but what they reconstructed your breast with is fat. You’re not growing breast cancer within your fat. Now you can get a recurrence bit it will be near or on your skin. Not actually inside the breast. Considering everything that’s going on with healing I wouldn’t worry about it at all. Next time you go have the doctor look at it but until then put it out of your mind.

Give yourself time to heal. I had some lumps along the scar but this was scar tissue knitting together under the skin. Around the boob area, I have keloid scar which is a pain but nothing to worry about it.
