hi, I found a lump in my right breast in August, by September it had grown from a hard oval shaped lump to an elongated lump about 1 inch in length. concerned, I made an appointment with my gynecologist, who did a clinical breast exam. She located the lump and recommended the digital diagnostic mammogram. I underwent the mammogram October 18, 2010, and while getting redressed, I noticed the image of my left breast on the computer screen. There was an inch wide white patch that extended down along the contour of my left breast, that contained at least four bright white spots that were rather large accompanied by some white specks that resembled salt grains. I’m thinking this is a fibrocystic condition, but not certain. I’m still waiting for the results of the mammogram. If anyone else here in the forum has experienced such, I would appreciate any feedback you could offer, for I am somewhat concerned about the bright white spots I saw.
Thank you in advance,
