Dimple, discharge and nodules on breast

Hi There

 

Last week I found a dimple under my right breast when my arm is raised. I have had a sort of crusty discharge coming from that nipple for a few weeks now but didn’t really think anything of it. I went to the GP yesterday and he said he felt a couple of nodules he wasn’t completely happy with. He did also say nodules can be completely normal but he has referred me to the one stop clinic to be sure. I am trying to stay rational and keep telling myself that 4 out of 5 times it is not cancer but the doubts keep coming into my head nd I feel sick to my stomache. Apparently it’ll be 2-3 weeks before my appointment.

 

Has anyone else had symptoms similar to these?

Hi Kirstabel,
Pretty much any breast change can be can be a symptom of bc, but thankfully mostly it turns out Not to be, whatever the symptom is.
You’ve done all you need to for now & have been referred to get it properly seen to.
Waiting is the pits, but there really is no way to second guess what it can be, as only the clinic can sort it out.
Inevitably, the anxiety & doubts when waiting is common to all of us, but carrying on as normal, distracting yourself & avoiding Dr Google, can all help in dealing with this stressful period.
