Hi,
about five weeks ago I noticed that my left breast was very tender, painful even and itchy. There is dimpling in the skin near the nipple too. I left it a month but then got really worried so I went to my GP last Monday. He and another female Dr both examined my breasts and said I needed an urgent referral to a breast clinic. I was stunned as I thought they would say it was nothing to worry about. The look on their faces really scared me.The hospital rang me the next day and my appointment is this Friday. I can’t sleep and I feel sick with worry. Stupidly, I have been researching on the internet and to me it sounds like IBC. Has anyone else had these symptoms and it turned out to be something else? Now my other breast feels very tender and itchy. Is this bad news?
