Hi wonder if anybody had this, I had BC last May had a lumpectomy then had follow up Mammogram and Scan in April this year. Now discovered another lump by the scar tissue area having to have biospy and scan tomorrow so pretty anxious about this, has anybody else had anything like this ? xheardof
I had this on one of my check ups …went into panic mode but it was just scar tissue from lumpectomy …hopefully your will b ok but if not …they have found it quickly and will b very thorough in checking you out.
Fingers crossed .
Carolyn xx
I’ve never had a recurrence in the breast, so just guessing here. I’m sure they will probably want to remove the lump and do further investigation with more scans. Wishing you the best. FF
Thank you
Hi Carolyn I’m praying that this is the same just be glad when biopsy done and I get the result back xx
Hi Charlotte, i understand this does happen sometimes. I had one in the other breast, which they biopsied and still wanted to remove…but later I heard it was benign. Hopefully yours will be similar, but if not then as Carolyn says, they will have caught it and dealt with it for you.
these things are so worrying arent they, and often they turn out ok. Hope you can have a nice weekend and manage to get prompt results next weekxx

Thank you Moijanx remaining positive ? X
Charlotte,
Just wanted to say ‘Hi’, although i cant help with your exact problem. My recurrence was in my skin to begin with but as the others say it could be fibrosis (hard, scarred tissue) or something else just as harmless. Either way you have done the right thing. Fingers crossed that your scan and biopsy have gone well. Please keep in touch. xx
Hi Charlotte
I had mastectomy and after had a lump after scan they said it was fluid pockets
Big hugs

hi Charlotte, I am in a similar situation now, I had BC last summer, lumpectomy last August and radiotherapy. I finally fel fit again and now have just discovered another lump in nearly the same place. I too have to have more tests etc, hoping its just a bloked duct.
