I had my first dose of Docetaxel 2 weeks ago which included 3 days of Dexamethasone. After about 7 days I started to develop red patches on my face. The skin feels tight, no rash and no itching. A bit sore sometimes. Using aloe Vera and E45. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks x

Skin reactions are very common. I had four rounds of docetaxel and I am afraid it got worse with each one. Nothing would soothe it! In the end the hospital put me on antihistamines. All I can say is that by day 15 it does get better, but it was miserable. Sorry! Also, be really careful in the sunshine, I got horrible burnt on a sunny day in November. Docetaxel will make your skin super sensitive.
Once I moved on th EC the skin reactions just vanished!
