I am approx 2 months post mastectomy & have just completed three weeks of radiotherapy.
My wound on my chest has become very hard and swollen. I dont think its infected so wondered if anyone else has experienced this following radiotherapy?
Hi Bella, my breast became swollen, hard and tender about 2 months after finishing radiotherapy, I had an ultrasound and all was fine, I was told it was odema caused by the radiotherapy, 2 years down the line it is still bigger than my other breast and still feels a but full but isn’t tender.
