DON'T BE SCARED...

I Just wanted to say to all you newly diagnosed girls that a year down the line i’m feeling fine and you WILL get through it. the treatments are amazing, i never once felt sick or had any pain despite having chemo, 2 surgeries (lumpectomies only) and radio…
just be patient, positive (annoying word i know!) and know that you’re not alone
xx

Thanks for posting that…that’s the one thing that’s really helped me the past few weeks…reading and hearing about all the success stories…the first few days after I was diagnosed I was on auto pilot and thinking I was the only person in the world to be going through this…I knew the tears had to stop eventually and I had to start being strong and positive…you are all very strong brave women on here and a great inspiration to those of us newly diagnosed xx

I am also a year on, and apart from some aches an pains,I feel great.Getting used to short silver cropped hair,as opposed to shoulder length dark brown bob,but get loads of compliments.Won’t be as vain dying hair again as I have done for years. My attitude to life has changed now,and although I have always been a positve person, there has been a lot of self doubt this year,i am now back in work and am more positve than ever— so bring it on !!!
