I was after a bit of advice. Should my drain site still hurt after 2 weeks, it is warm but not hot and hurts more than the mastectomy wound. Is that normal? I am being sick and have a stinking headache, could it be connected?

I would go to your GP today. Sounds like an infection. My drain site only hurt for a day or two afterwards and if yours is warm and you feel ill, you need to be seen ASAP

Yes - get to you GP !! It does sound like an infection.
I am still very tender where the drains went in near my waist but the others were okay.

Just got back from hospital, saw BCN and the surgeon came and had a look and said that he thinks it is nerve pain and has prescribed me some tablets. Cannot fault the NHS, I wouldn’t have got better treatment privately.
Have to go to GP tomorrow as they think I have a chest infection though!!! Great.
