Hello, new joiner, but had SBC for 13 yrs.
I’ve recently been moved onto herceptin with cape and tucatanib and having some side effects - fatigue, nausea and diarrhoea.
Tucatanib is the cause of diarrhoea. Any tips on timing of tablets, prevention and and food/nutrients that have helped.
Cape seems to just knock me out for two weeks, with fatigue and feeling sick. Lost my appetite as well.
Anyone with experience of these drugs, I’d love to hear from you and how you’ve coped.
Hi you can phone the nurses on here and speak to them and also request to join the sbc group too and there is always metupuk you can get in contact with too, google metupuk an incredible lady who was on the threads helped set metupuk up a lady called Angela Oliver. Sadly no longer with us but she along with others at metupuk have and are helping make a difference as does bcn’s research
