Hi! Is there anyone here that has had duct ectasia ?
It started with left breast and nipple swelling also armpit swelling and pain over 2 weeks ago, doctors prescribed antibiotics and I paid for a private ultrasound, they said suspected ductal ectasia and two swollen axilary lymph nodes in my armpit. I’m not breast feeding and my last baby was over 3 years ago now. I’m still having abit of pain but not as bad and the breast swelling has gone down slightly however my left nipple is still noticeably larger than my right and sore and so Is my armpit still sore and swollen, I can’t find much information about duct ectasia but I have seen that breast cancer can mimic it so this does worry me
