Its nearly two weeks since my surgery. I have not spoken to a breast nurse post surgery so have no idea how long it is until I can wear my underwired bra again? I am away at the weekend and want to wear a particular dress but my non wired bra is high cupped and will show. Sorry its a dumb question, but I was so relieved after my good news I forgot to ask anyone.

I have worn underwired bras throughout my surgery and rads and it’s been fine. I reckon you’ll be ok to wear one at the weekend. Enjoy yourself, you deserve it

Thanks hun, I was told to get one as my pre op assessment but was not sure how long to wear it after and Its a hideous thing!!!
My pretty ones will be out at butlins when I party the night(s) away! Omg three nights of pure dancing drinking and having fun, how will I cope!!!
Jules,I lasted a week with non-wired and felt like a frump.Haven’t had any problems with wired so far.
Thanks for that, trouble is no one tells you do they unless you keep asking this or that, and lets face it when your at the breast clinic you usually have far more important things on your mind than your underwear lol thank you. I will defo bin this hideous frumpy thing!
