Hello, This could be a daft question! I want to get my ear pierced (helix) if I have it done on the same side (right) as my
mastectomy, with full lymph node clearance could it triggery lymphoedema?
Has anyone had this done?

Well, I can’t think that it would, but then I’m not a medical person. But…My lymphodaema was triggered by a bout of sepsis in my arm on that side. Sepsis was through a tiny scratch on my hand rock pooling with my grandson. I would just check with your nurse/ Onco . It’s about being absolutely germ free, isn’t it? X
I was pondering on doing the same thing and came across your question, so wondered if you ever got any further advice on this.? If you could share with me appreciated
