Hi I had my first EC yesterday and has a reaction on the last cyclophosphamide syringe…difficulty swallowing and very low blood pressure… Ended up overnight stay. Now of course I’m worrying about subsequent treatments. Anyone else had a reaction to EC…

I had EC too but no reaction. But don’t worry because they may give you cover before the next one. Like Piriton to prevent a reaction. Hope all goes well x

Sorry to hear you had a reaction and glad that you were looked after overnight. I have an allergic tendency and they gave me anti allergy peritone IV before each chemo IV as well as steroids. That should prevent reactions in future. Do mention it at the next EC so they’re aware and they might just have a nurse watching over you as the EC goes in. Make sure to mention to oncologist as well. Take care
