It’s natural to be emotionally. I had my op and a few days later I was very down. I came in here and was told that the anesthetic can have that effect. I’m waiting on results now and am back in clinic in 3rd jan. I know I’ll be very down again then . Look after yourself
Hello @Bella999 and @heartbreak
Heartbreak is absolutely right it is not unusual to feel very down after a general anaesthetic as the drugs can cause this, hopefully in a few days you’ll start to feel a bit more like “you” again
You may hear a lot of people talk about the cancer rollercoaster and struggles with the effects of the diagnosis and treatment being harder on your mental and psychological health than physically: I would most definitely attest to feeling this way! Please take care of yourself and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you feel you need it: we are all here for you on the forums and there are lots of support groups in real life, personally as kind and as empathetic my family and friends were, talking to other ladies who has been through or were going through treatment made a huge difference
Sending you lots of healing hugs

PS Heartbreak I hope you are feeling OK xx
