Ended up in hospital yesterday...

I went to get my PICC line cleaned etc yesterday and everything was fine but I started to feel really hot and dizzy…to cut a long story short I ended up in the ward… I don’t really remember much of what went on yesterday but I do know that I had three or four drift in and out sessions… had to have an ECG, some blood tests and a brain scan… Thnakfully everything looked normal and they sent me home in the evening.

My husband was a wreck…scared the pants off him.

They have no idea what it was but the doctor did say that it wasn’t impossible that it had something to do with the chemo…

Oh the joys of breast cancer.

Taking it REALLY easy today…

Hope you are all ‘well’,

Hi Babyboo

So sorry to hear about your hospital “visit”. I ended up in A&E the other day due to an infected razor cut on my leg. No hair on head or nether regions but still need to shave the legs! Where’s the fairness in that! I was dizzy and quite scared especially of all the coughing going on around me, but was treated very quickly

It’s scary sometimes, reminds you of how serious things can be. I’m very pleased you have recovered today

Take it easy

P.S. Cecelia - electric razors are ace for when you’re on chemo. I know they don’t give the closest of shaves but theres absolutely no risk of you ‘knicking’ yourself.

Thank you all for your wishes…

I still feel horrible but I promise I am taking it easy…
