Epi/Xeloda and eyelashes

I’ve had four doses of the Epi and am now almost two weeks into the Xeloda. My head hair only came out fully about 5 or 6 weeks into the Epi (I was on fortnightly doses) which seemed to be later than most people. Anyway, I started the Xeloda thinking that my eyebrows and eyelashes had survived mostly intact. Er, no! They’ve been coming out gradually over the last week or so and today I noticed that I’ve got hardly any eyelashes left on one side.

Has anyone else had the same belated hair loss or had it much more one side than the other?

Hi Nicola
I too have been on the Epi/Xeloda regime. I am just about to start my forth cycle of Xeloda…last tablets on Christmas Day!!
I also lost my eyelashes and most of my eyebrows at the same point as you. However, they have grown back really quickly and thicker than before! So, hopefully yours will come back quickly too.

Thanks Margaret - good luck with your last cycle.

I will keep fingers crossed for speedy regrowth. It’s just depressing that you think the falling out has ceased only to have more come out.

Hi , THis is exactly what I found . I was relieved that eyelashes / eyebrows had remained intact during epi only to notice them thinning on Xeloda !
