Just to let you know Julie had her op today, I had a text from her saying she was sitting up in bed & waiting for a cuppa so hopefully all went well for her. Good on yer Julie!
I went to Helen Rollason, Rochelle House last week and there was a note up saying something like… Due to poor attendance the Breast Cancer Support Group will be dissolved. It’d be such a shame for this to happen so please come along on Weds 16 June 7.30-8.30pm at Rochelle House, Lawn Lane, Chelmsford (next to Springfield Hospital). These meetings are held monthly (I think it’s the 3rd Wednesday in every month and there is always a BCN there. At the next meeting on the 16th, there will be a Consultant S. Smith there to answer any queries.
Also at HR there is a fete this Saturday 5th June, think it starts at 10.30am, they are usually a good event and obviously a very worthy cause. Hope to see some of you there x

someone please text me so I remember to go. Maybe we should meet beforehand and then go on there? Bev doing really well but pushing herself and needs a good talking to as hanging washing out, dusting, doing the washing!!! I have told her off many times. Julie how are you doing? Are you pleased with the finished result or is it a bit early to tell? Hope it was worth having more done. Tracey hope you are feeling better and have you killed the plants yet?

yes i’ve had final chemo - phew & feeling fine!
start letrozole (femara) next week - not looking forward to that but fingers crossed side effects will be ok…have read lily’s posts on her change to this & hoping i cope as well! altho don’t fancy a red eye experience! hope all well now?
not sure if i’ll make rochelle house weds but have made a note

Well done for getting through chemo and hope femara is kind to you. It is a weeny tablet and in very short supply so get your next prescription early.

don’t forget the support group at Rochelle house on Wed or it will be discontinued. One of the consultants, Simon Smith is coming to see us and answer any questions. As he is a plastic surgeon too some of you may like the chance to talk to him. Or you could just go for the cakes

well done to anyone who did the race for life on sunday, I bet your feet still hurt!I had the biggest blisters on the sides of my toes when I did it last year. Had an appointment at London Rd today and all fine. Just a touchy feely job The whole lot moves to Broomfield on 1st October and no parking at the moment so should be chaotic. I don’t have to see the surgical team for a year - my longest ever !!! Back to the Prof later this month. B is back at work on light duties and was at the clinic too today.
