Hi. I am just wondering if anyone is on this combination. After almost 5 years on Letrozole I was changed onto this about 10 days ago. I have developed several mouth ulcers which are very painful and also I am very tired. I did really well on Letrozole, having very few side effects. However I do remember that I had some problems when I first started using it, but they did settle down after a while.
i am wondering/hoping that this will happen again, does anyone have any experience.

If you go to the ‘Living with secondary breast cancer’ board, just below the ‘Treatments and medical issues’ one on the screen you will see a thread ‘exemestane and everolimus’ with lots of posts. Hope your side effects settle down. There will be advice here on how to deal with them.

Hi Lynnq, I have had the same treatments but am ahead of you. Fatigue caused by letrozole went very quickly. E/E as we call it causes mouth ulcers which you can take rinses and use bicarb when you clezn your teeth. My problems got worse when my face swelled up and I was getting infections, so I was put down to 5mg and have been fine on that for 3 months, having a scan soon so will see if it is working.
