Anyone else taking both of these together and having debilitating fatigue?
I already had a level of fatigue that I was managing with pacing before diagnosis . I’ve had surgery , chemo and radio. Now onto tablets
On exemestane alone my fatigue increased and along with it came the muscle and joint pain. I’m 56 but some days I feel like a weak arthritic geriatric !
Now added abemaciclib into the mix , started on 150mg , that did not go well ,now onto my second week of 100 mg
Hoping things settle and I can tolerate them both , but honestly with the extra fatigue from this aswell I feel like I’m being hammered , just doing the basics is a huge effort
The thought of being like this for years is soul destroying, it’s not quality of life
I expected to write off this year with surgery etc but was not prepared st all for how awful the hormone and targeted therapy was going to be
Hoping someone can offer some insight or ideas on how to manage
