Hi Baileys - so glad you put this on. I am the same as you - finished chemo end of November and rads in February. Was very tired after radiotherapy but then a little better but this last week I have a different sort of tiredness. I haven’t slept properly since my op last June but this last week and I am actually sleeping and so tired withe little energy and a supposed to be going back to work in a couple of weeks.
I suppose we just have to ride with it and hope it gets better.
Love Liz xx
Hi Liz,

Hi baileys and Liz
Just to let you know there is a lot of good information on cancer and fatigue on the cancer backup site. If you’re interested in having a look at this it can be found at:-
cancerbackup.org.uk/Resourcessupport/Symptomssideeffects/Fatigue
I hope you find it helpful.
Kind regards

I too finished chemo in dec and rads in feb, but unlike some of the comments i feel so well,so much so I have just completed a race for life and did the 5k in 48 mins, it was hard work mind, but the training gave me incentive to get fit and give something back, so i hope this will give you all some incouragement.
good luck to you all

I finished chemo in Oct last year and rads in March and I’m still not right either. My stamina went right out the window (not that I was particularly well endowed with that before anyway).
I have recently taking up Geocaching as a reason for getting myself out in the fresh air and increasing my walking a bit. I’ve also introduced my 5yo to orienteering (on a walking basis) but we can only get to an event about once in 4-6 weeks due to OH being on call one third of the time…
Now if I could just get rid of the achiness in my arm so I can do (belated) spring cleaning…
mousy, who would be better off left handed at this point…
