Rotation or migration of the implant can happen as a complication of breast reconstruction (page 24), and is most common in the first few weeks after surgery. It’s important to let your breast care nurse or breast surgeon now that the implant has moved again, they will be best placed to let you know how to manage this. You won’t be wasting time by asking for an appointment, the team are there to support you so please do give them a call.
Recovery after surgery can take some time, and it’s good to hear you’re taking precautions such as wearing a supportive bra and walking to keep active.
You may find the organisation Keeping Abreast, who support people having breast reconstruction, helpful to contact to ask if others have had a similar experience.
