The Policy team at Breast Cancer Now would like to hear from anyone who has taken the drug Kadcyla for primary breast cancer, following treatment with trastuzumab and surgery.
The Scottish Medicine Consortium (SMC) will shortly begin assessing whether to make this treatment available on the NHS in Scotland (it is already available on the NHS in England, with Wales and Northern Ireland expected to follow). Breast Cancer Now have been asked to provide our views on the treatment to the SMC as part of this assessment, and we’d like to speak to anyone who has experience of taking Kadcyla for primary breast cancer to shape our input.
