We’re looking for people to help with our submission for a drug consultation for Invalisib for both NICE (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) and SMC (Scotland) submissions.
We were deeply disappointed to hear that Inavalisib in combination with palbociclib and fulvestrant has been provisionally rejected by NICE. So in response, we’re looking for patients to talk about what this rejection means for them who also meet the criteria listed below.
This combination treatment is also currently being assessed by the SMC. Because of this, we’re also interested in talking to people from Scotland who meet the following criteria:
People with PIK3CA‑mutated, oestrogen receptor (ER)‑positive, HER2‑negative, locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer, who:

Have accessed the drug inavolisib (Itovebi), in combination with palbociclib and fulvestrant). OR
-
Who didn’t access these drugs but feel they may have benefitted from receiving them.
Invavolisib (in combination with palbociclib and fulvestrant) is used for people with the above type of breast cancer following recurrence, or within 12 months of completing hormone therapy after primary treatment.
