well said, I will say no more!
I thought I knew everything that was coming my way but that was a surprise

come on brows!!!

I looked it up on the internet and pasted the expalnation of it.

I didn’t know what it was either.

Have you grown any more hairs since the last post?

I seem to have stopped I am looking every day and nothing seems to be happening. I am 6-7 months after chemo and can’t understand why they would start and then seem to stop. I know people say it can take up to a year but does it seem to stop for a while and then take off again???

me too I stopped chemo in April 2005 and my eyebrows are still very sparse.
Before chemo I had thick dark eyebrows which met in the middle if I didn’t pluck them!

They are very slowing improving still - I think! I have them dyed dark brown occasionally which makes them a bit more prominent though it doesn’t last long. When I wear make up to go out I fill in a bit with an eyebrow pencil but my technique isn’t great.

I don’t know why they are so slow compared to other areas of hair?

When you say sparse are there still lots of hair or do they still look like you have none from a distance???

Do you think yours are still growing back?

eyebrows Dear Marymo,
There are not as many hairs as there used to be and they seem to be fairer. You can see them from a distance but only faintly.
I do think they are continuing to improve a little even 20 mths after I stopped chemo.
Hope yours improve!

There is hope the eyelashes seem to be getting a little longer again, I spoke to the hairdresser who looks after post chemo cuts and he said that 6-7 months post treatment that the hair goes into the normal grow/shed cycle so it seems about right, it also spells the sheddimng of the baby facial hair, hurray for that

I was just wondering if anyone out there knows if the sun helps yuor eyebrows to grow???

I am going on holiday in feb and hoping the sun will help them back to what they were before
