Hi, I’m on cycle 8 of ribociclib and each time I get a different side effect. This time is red face and peeling skin on the face (in the past I’ve had it on the body).
Has anyone had this too? What product did you use?
At the moment I’m circling through a normal face moisturiser and the Zerobase cream they gave me for the body, but I don’t think either is helping…

I haven’t had ribociclib (mine is triple negative so I’m not eligible), but I had similar on a previous chemo. My oncologist recommended a course of antibiotics as mine looked like acne rosacea (dry, spotty, peeling) but I wasn’t keen as antibiotics sometimes give me tummy troubles. I used a cream called Epaderm which helped a bit.
As yours may not be the same, I think it would be best for you to ask your team, or try phoning the BCNs here as I think they will be more help than me!

Hi @ScarletBea, I am sorry you are experiencing this side effect. I have not had Ribociclib but would like to suggest that you could try castor oil medical grade which widely available in Pharmacies. It is perfectly safe. Avoid anything containing a perfume. The website cosDNA is a good place to check the ingredients of any products you are putting on your skin. Do report all side effects to your treatment team and also report to the Yellow Card Scheme.
