Fatigue - I just can’t be bothered!

Hi All, I’ve had my 3rd EC, I’ve got my 4th next Friday then I’m on Docetaxel for 4 cycles.
I’m shattered! I’ve just no energy and I really cannot be arsed doing anything :disappointed: please tell me I’m not alone :yawning_face::sleeping:

Oh I hear you. I’ve had 4 rounds of EC and am struggling to get going at all. The colder weather also doesn’t help. I think I’m also done with putting a brave face on it all.

Ohh same!! In a lot of ways I’m lucky that I live on my own so I can lie around scowling at everything and no one can stop me lol.

I get tired of answering texts with “I’m good thanks” or “all ok here” etc when really I want to write a whole long list of stuff that NOT good and NOT ok.

I want to build a pillow fort and live in it for the next few months til all the chemo/ops/radiotherapy is over with :weary::rofl:

This is completely normal during chemo. I used to go for a short walk in the morning and would then spend the remainder of the day on the sofa!

That makes me feel a little less guilty, thank you :hugs: I don’t want people to think I’m lazy, there’s just no energy there any more :weary:

Dear traceyp23,

Take one day at a time at the moment, you been through a lots, listening to your body and have a snooze whenever you need too.

However, don’t forget to drink plenty of water, eat good food, a little walk to get some fresh air. Most of all be kind to yourself.

Wishing you lots of health and happiness going forward, hopefully in a couple of weeks you will be feeling much better.

Hugs Tili :rainbow::pray::rainbow::pray:
