I was diagnosed in Jan 2015 with HER 2 stage 4. I am now on Herceptin, Pertusamab, Zoledronic Acid every 3 weeks and Letrozol daily.
Ive had fatigue for a while but in the last couple of months it really seems worse, I have no energy to do anything. I’m not tired as such, just can’t motivate myself to even do things I love. Walking to the kitchen to get a drink is sometimes too much effort.
i do an office job full time and seem to be able to push myself mentally there, but outside of that… nothing.
I can’t figure out if I’m just becoming very lazy, of if this is really how I am now?
Does anyone else feel like this? Do you have any suggestions how to deal with it? I’m completely at a loss.thanks for any input.

Hello liz and welcome to the forum.
I’m not on your regime so can’t help but after more than two years of treatment …the body is beginning to tire !! So what’s a bit of dust, a pile of ironing if you are tired …leave it until you feel like doing it!!
You are doing well and the treatment is working well so don’t feel guilty …your blood tests will show any problems so if they are ok …then let your body tell you what it needs.
Sending hugs xxxx
Thanks for your feedback, it feels better knowing it not just me.
I am having a week off work, and see how I feel after that.
once again, thank you for your feedback.

Hi everyone on subject of fatigue, last few weeks I’ve done absolutely nothing!! No its not being lazy at all its how chemo makes you feel ??.I was constantly being told to eat more, go out for walk every day when I was feeling like s@#t.you will feel better if you do something they said. NO I Won’t!! Until I finish my course of Cape and vinorelbine, then I will start to pick up,to go through it all again next time.but as I am now breathless and my cancer of lymph nodes in chest wall has got worse I might be off cape. Have good weekend everyone xx
