I shall be having fec on friday what is the difference between fec and fec t dose just fec have less side affects

Fec is a triple treatment, 5FU, Epirubicin and Cyclophosphamide, one after the other. You have these 3 drugs for all six cycles. The T part is Docetaxel,  if this is added, you have FEC for 3 cycles followed by 3 TAX for the final 3 cycles. The side effects are different for everyone. I found FEC really easy, but had to stop TAX and be put back on FEC. Others find the opposite, having lots of problems with FEC but not many with TAX. 

I am 2nd week after 1st round of fec starting to feel but normal now but got to be honest it was dreadful I had lots of side effects which really got me down. Hopefully nurses know all about and round 2 will be easier. Xx
