The grey mist has descended again. Had lumpectomy and SNB 22nd Feb no problems healing well etc. Got results yesterday didn’t get a clear medial margin although the other margins were clear plus traces in 1 of the 3 nodes they removed. 60mm removed in total so now I have to have a mastecomy and full node clearance. Surgeon has recommended skin sparing mastecomy so I can have reconstruction at a later stage. I will need chemo and radiotherapy due to size grade 3 and HER2. I was coping so well but feel like I am back to square one and wonder what other bad news is coming my way. Physical I feel ok but it is mental torture dealing with this and wonderin if I am going to make it. Lou x
