Hello,
10 days post bilateral mastectomy with expanders, and still have a low grade fever (range 37.1 to 38). Had IV antibiotics during and post operation, and took penicillin for 4 days, but fever’s never gone away. I’m now on new antibiotics but nothing’s changed, Surgeon baffled because he can’t see any sign of infection on wounds etc. I’m worried it’s the expanders being rejected 
Has anyone been through similar? Thanks
