Got results of CAT scan body is clear of cancer although seem to have some sort of ovarian cyst that needs to be seen to.
I have op on Tuesday…lumpectomy and all lymph nodes/some muscle removed. Surgeon says will try lumpectomy but might need masectomy. I asked him what cacer type and he said general non specific.
They planned on chemo first to try to shrink tumour…will I stilll need it if operation removes the cancerous tissue.
He said chemo usually starts 3 weeks after surgery

Hello butterfly. Glad the cat scan was clear. I had my io on the 10th jan results came back clear but beacause it was a grade 3 so aggressive and I am 36 my consultant said I will be having chemo anyway to make sure it has all gone and to try and prevent it coming back.
