all done lumpectomy, mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, nearly a year since diagnosed and all done! weird feeling and those who are reading this and have not finished you will get there and should be very very proud of yourself as your life just changes from being busy and carefree to a patient having treatment but once its over we should all step back and be proud of getting through it
well done, Belinda, lovely to meet you last Friday.

thanks guys! yep we need another meet up where i can stay and chat and not be forced to leave for appointments! x
Hello
I finished rads on 22 October (dx 6 Jan), after WLE, 6xFEC-T, MX and DIEP recon. It was all very unceremonious and quite strange walking out of the hospital following last rads session and not having another appointment date until August 2011 - although the onc and PS had said that they would see 3 months on from rads, so presumably I’ll get some appointments through for Jan. I am not the type to worry unduly, but I do rather feel that I would have liked to have had some confirmation that there was no trace of the cancer now - in my breast or anywhere else.
