Hi all I hope you are doing ok. I have my first check up on the 6th July after surgery for a recurrence in my 21 year pld LD recon and new implant. Previous surgery in 2004 LD with implant left me with 2 fairly equal breasts. 2025 surgery has developed into little and large. Not quite sure what to expect from my check up this year. Should I be happy with this outcome? Im 68 now. I was 46 last time. Im not sure if little and large is to be expected now im older. Should I ask for them to be a little more equal or should I accept that one has aged and the recon hasnt? Or should I just be glad im still alive and kicking!! Xx
I’d definitely bring it up. If you don’t tell them it’s bothering you then they’re definitely not going to fix it.
