Hi everyone.nervous last night knowing it wad my first review today.hafnt checked myself (my tumour) lately. But I did last night, it’s smaller! 3 smaller pea size lumps also seem different. I thought ni don’t get hopes up.anyway oncologist agreed ? was pleased and says persevere with the side effects mainly bad fatigue and low mood that really got me down.so another cycle of Cape starting tomorrow 1800mg twice a day, not looking forward to it but hey after that bit if positive news it reallyuplifted my spirits. For while anyway! Even went shopping for first time in ages treated myself to some new make up shattered now. Hugs everyone xx

That’s good news and shows cape is doing what it says on the tin!.
Now I don’t know anything about cape BUT retail therapy and chocolate …I’m the master of !! So you have the make up now …you need nice perfume, nice bath bombs maybe and handbag, shoes etc etc …so splash the cash and give the credit card a big bashing with the good news !!!

Hi Carolyn,bit of retail therapy was great today as a reward cheered me up before I start cape again tomorrow.knowing what to expect with side effects again not looking forward to it but if more results are seen well. It’s not all for nothing. Don’t like the awful fatigue by end of week, not eating and my mood I was so ratty I snapped and I couldn’t help it. Oh well the joys of chemo.
Hi Angela that’s great news! It makes such a difference when you are struggling on any treatment to know it’s kicking those little uggers into touch! Retail therapy is the way forward but pace yourself, you don’t want to overdo it! Hopefully this cycle will be a bit easier, it took me about 3 cycles (on a dose reduction as well) to cope easier with the SEs so bear in mind to ask another time if you are finding it too difficult to lead a ‘normal’ life (whatever that is!) as the oncologists want to strike a balance.

Great news Angela…hold on to every positive…no matter how small. Its rough when treatment causes horrid side effects but at least you know its working. x
