First the bones now the lungs!!!

Had bone mets in my lumbar vertebrae confirmed about 2 weeks ago. Had a CT scan and now find i have a couple of nodules in my left lung, they reported fluid in the left lung which will be drained when it becomes a problem but alos fluid in the pericadium (around the heart) - didn’t think to ask what that meant - any thoughts? Decided to take the low key option of Tamoxifen and bionphosphates (pll form) for now with rads when pain becomes a problem.
thankfully due to feed back fo all you wonderful ladies I know there is a good few years in the old yet. Still s bit fed-up up but heigh-ho onwards and upwards.
Cheers Jacqui

In the mean time I am adding below the link to the BCC secondary information page where you can find details of the services available specifically for those diagnosed with secondary breast cancer.

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis, Jacqui. Fingers crossed for great results from the Tamoxifen.

Thank you for your reassurance and hugs. It is alway a bit of a shock - I was about to be discharged as all clear!
Ozzie - I willshow my spouse your email he is ‘rabbit in the car headlights’ mode at the moment. It will really help him as well.

Good luck to you all
