I thankfully had my fifth and final mammogram in December 2022 which was all clear. Now go back on national screening programme. This week will be my last week to taking anastrazole which in some ways I can’t wait for and in another breath it’s making me feel anxious as I always felt that this was an additional ‘insurance policy’. I am guessing this is normal? There is no final sign off to this…either with hospital or GP…makes you feel quite alone.
Yes , I felt the same - rather uneasy .Last year was my first without screening mammogram , 3 years seems like a long time really .
