Flight Socks
Flight Socks Hi everyone
Has anyone got any advice on wearing Flight Socks i.e how long you put them on before flying and when you take them off again. Going on long 10 hour flight to CUBA in 4 weeks (cannot wait) but first time flying after op and treatments also a bit worried dont want to get bitten on my arm so I have bought all the insect repellent (just might smell a bit) but who cares I will enjoy!
Thanks for any advice.

flight socks I didn’t bother with flight socks, but I did ask for an aisle seat so I could get up and move around more easily. I did exercises from time to time too, and took aspirin to thin the blood a bit. Exercises consisted of flexing my legs and feet at regular intervals.
flight socks Hi Janets,
When I travelled I bought fllight socks but then discovered on the instructions that they should not be used by people who have/had cancer. Have they changed since 2004 ?
Hope you have a fantastic holiday, just move about the aircraft
lift the feet up and down ( even while seated) that should do the trick.
Enjoy,
Kieran
Arm exercises It’s important to do arm exercises (the ones given to do after op) for long flights as well.
Have a wonderful time (Cuba’s on my list for places to visit)
