Flip side Finishing FEC soon how soon does hair return to no HI Ladies

I just have 2 more FEC to go and on the flip side of the other question on here at the moment I wondered when does your hair return to normal growth, I have a baby type fuzz all over at the moment and some that didnt fall out in the first place, I know every one is different but just wondered what the average was…

Hi Lucy

I finished 6 FEC in October 04 and, like you, I kept a fine covering of fuzz. I could never bring myself to shave it all off! I would say that by January, I was ready to go “wigless” and my hair was about half an inch all over. After 6 months it was normal in colour and texture, although it was quite wavy (it’s straight now). It probably takes about a year for it to be completely “normal” but, take heart, my hair is now thicker and in better condition than it ever was AND there are very few grey ones!!

Mine grew back quite quickly… Hi Lucy,
I had my last FEC in October 06 and probably an inch by christmas. It started slowly and now its probably 5inches, have not had it cut because its so curly and I love it.

Have a look at Josie profile pic, her hair is lovely, hope we all have it.

Its a thing to look forward to, so many things are Cr*p with this disease.

I would agree with Josie, I had a lot more grey hair before it fell out and hardly any now. Result… have to have some benefits!!!
