Just managed to get the OH out this am -very reluctant to go to work!!
Anyway,thought I would ask if anybody has had the inactivated flu vaccine ? I had my first cycle of FEC on 26/11/08 and over the last few days I have came down with a sore throat,productive cough and a bit achy all over.Consequently,I phoned the oncology dept where I am being treated and they told me I had to discuss issues surrounding the vaccine with my oncologist. I work in the health care profession myself and understand that there are containdications with the vaccine as now I have developed the LURGY!!!
Going to get difflam for my throat in addition to the tea tree oil.Will try the contacts today.
Remember,keep warm and drink plenty good stuff
